Moroccan Fashion Designer Noureddine Amir

Marrakech Riad

Noureddine Amir is a fashion designer from Morocco. Born in Rabat he studied in a French fashion school which was briefly open in Morocco.

His studio is called Villa Amir and is in Marrakech. The space is filled with wooden mannequins adorned with raffia and clay. what sets Noureddine apart from many Moroccan fashion designers is his departure from traditions of materials and styles, instead he takes inspiration from Amazigh culture, and sculpts pieces of clothing from the waistline until he feels a perfect garment has been created [Read more…]
